Contraception & Sexual Health Services
Sexual health services in Barking, Havering and Redbridge
We provide sexual health services for anyone who wants information or advice, needs contraception, or thinks they may have been exposed to a sexually transmitted infection (STI). They are confidential and free for anyone aged over 13. You don’t need to be referred by your GP.
We have four clinics across our boroughs - Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge - delivering our services six days a week over extended opening hours.
We offer contraception, testing and treatment for STIs, HIV and blood-borne viruses, and specialist advice from our nurses and consultants. We also offer a quick check service for routine sexual health testing, which can test for chlamydia, gonorrhoea, HIV, syphilis and Hepatitis B, at all our sites. To use this service you must be over 18 and not experiencing any symptoms.
We have walk-in clinics, where you can come and wait to be seen, or you can call our appointment and advice line on 020 8924 6674, which is open from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
If you have an appointment booked, please arrive 10 minutes before. If you need to cancel or change an appointment, please call us on the number above.
