Macmillan community oncology team - NELFT
The Macmillan oncology service is a community-based service providing supportive care and information for patients in Havering who are currently undergoing, or have recently completed treatment for cancer.
The team works with other health and social care organisations.
The service is available to patients who are:
- receiving chemotherapy for primary disease
- receiving radiotherapy for primary disease
- requiring support and undergoing active management of their disease

The service will accept referrals from any health care professional or social care professional and patients may also self-refer.
Self referral by patients to 01708 576919. GP or other health professionals direct to the service by telephone or by fax to the single point of access (SPA) on 0844 931 0188.
Criteria: Over the age of 18. Resident in Havering and/or registered with a GP in Havering. Currently undergoing or recently completed cancer treatment.
