Havering Direct Payments

Direct Payment is suitable for families where one or more children have been identified to have an assessed need.  Payment is offered in lieu of a provided service.

Families of children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities may be awarded a direct payment to buy respite care or help with personal care following an assessment of need.

Direct Payments can be accessed following an assessment from the Children's Social Services.
