Romford Central Library

The new look Central Library in Romford is now open following a 16-month multi-million pound refurbishment.

The refurbishment includes a total redesign of the ground floor to make way for an open plan library, while repairs have been made to the floors, ceilings and roof.

New features include glass walling around the front to let in more light and new toilet facilities for the disabled. There is a small area of grass with seating in front of Central Library. This was the first refurbishment since the library opened in 1965.
