ActivEyes

ActivEyes Redbridge is a user led peer support group for blind and partially sighted people living in or around the London Borough of Redbridge.

Our aim is to ensure that the outcomes of the “Seeing It My Way” framework are achievable for visually impaired people in Redbridge.

Our first objectives are to develop:

Social events and activities for visually impaired people in Redbridge and surrounding areas

A Local Vision Strategy: to document the needs of local visually impaired people and the services and support available in Redbridge, to highlight the key areas which need improvement, and to develop an action plan to address them.

Membership is free to anyone who lives in or near the borough of Redbridge and has a sight impairment that affects their daily living.

Our Friends scheme is open and free to anyone who wishes to offer support, including family members, carers, volunteers, sector professionals and others – we welcome any genuine offer of help or support!
