Ashiana Network

Ashiana Network is being funded by London Councils to deliver a range of services as part of their Domestic and Sexual Violence funding stream. Ashiana is delivering these services to women and girls (14+) as part of the London Violence against Women and Girls Consortium.

Ashiana is the lead organisation for the London Specialist Refuge Network which is a unique and innovative project providing Pan-London, specialist emergency accommodation and support service to vulnerable women and children affected by domestic/sexual violence who present with complex/mental health needs, problematic substance use, women exiting prostitution and women with no recourse to public funds. This service is delivered in partnership with Solace Women's Aid and nia project. The Network will provide dedicated, safe, temporary accommodation across three schemes and work intensively with women to improve their safety and enable them to exit violent and abusive relationships/situations.

Ashiana is part of a consortium led by Asian Women's Resource Centre, comprising of 8 specialist organisations which are providing advice, counselling and support groups to Black and Minority Ethnic and Refugee (BAMER) women affected by harmful practices such as forced marriage, honour based violence and female genital mutilation.
