DABD - Kid's Patch Club

Kid's Patch is our Ofsted registered weekend club for children and young people aged 5 - 18 with disabilities and additional needs. 

The club offers a friendly, fun, social and inclusive environment with specialist equipment and facilities and trained staff. Children and young people can enjoy crafts and themed activities promoting confidence, positive relationships and of course, fun!

Referral Details

Parents/carers, social workers and family workers can refer young people to the service. The service is open to all young people who have the funding, budget. direct payment or package to purchase the service. Parents/carers decide when they want their child to attend, it can be once a month or every Saturday. You must then book your child in at least 5 days before the day you would like them to attend.  The service is open to young people aged 5 to 18 years. All venues we use are accessible. We use a hoist for those who need it. We use sensory equipment and have a child/young person friendly garden.  Staff are trained Makaton trained to support communication.
