Podiatry Service
The Havering podiatry department provides a wide range of foot care services to those with a clinical need for treatment. The service primarily treats those with long-term conditions such as diabetes, inflammatory arthritis and peripheral vascular disease, or with specific needs such as biomechanical foot problems.

Referral criteria:
Patients with a clinical need for treatment registered with a GP in Havering.
Exclusions:
Diabetes foot screening
Footwear related lesions
Low risk palliative treatment
Social foot care or verrucae treatment
This service will not assess patients discharged from the service less than 12 months previously, unless there is a change in medical status
