YMCA Thames Gateway Romford Preschool

Our pre-school offers both half and full day sessions for children aged 2-5 years.  It provides a happy, secure and stimulating environment in which a child’s personality and confidence can develop in preparation for school. It is designed to meet the needs of young children and is equipped with a large bright playroom and a variety of age appropriate toys.

Children can spend a whole day with us, or a morning session runs from 8.30am – 11:30am and an afternoon session is between 12pm-3pm. Those arriving for the afternoon session can also have lunch on arrival.

• We are open five days a week at our main site in Rush Green Road
• We provide a maximum of 24 places per session
• All children are entitled to 15 hours of free early education funding (for 3 and 4 year olds) per week from the term prior to their third birthday, for 38 weeks of the year until they reach compulsory school age
• 30 hours of funding is available for 3 and 4 year olds (T&Cs apply)
• Free for two funding is available to some children.  Restrictions apply.
