Corbets Tey School is a special school for students with Complex Learning Difficulties. Children and young people between the ages of 4 and 19 can attend.

Corbets Tey School has a range of specialist equipment and facilities including:

Learning Resource Centre with Parent Resource Library
Hydrotherapy pool
Soft play area
Sensory Equipment
Sensory Playground
Hoists, changing room and other adaptations

Internal lift to upper floor

Students can access individualised swimming programmes created by the swimming teacher. Swimming takes place in the school's on-site hydrotherapy pool.

Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists visit the school to assess children and provide programmes for the class teacher to implement.

Parents and carers are asked to engage with the child's learning programme and any therapist programmes to support learning in all environments.

The Family Practitioner Team organises weekly coffee sessions for parents and a Parent Resource Library provides resources and learning support. A weekly newsletter keeps parents and carers informed about events and the work of the school. The school's Parent and Friends Association provides a great deal of funding for equipment, facilities and a range of social activities for pupils and their families.
