Early Help Transitions Support

In response to the changing climate due to the Coronavirus, the Early Help Service have drawn together a holistic approach to plan how to best support learners with educational transition across the London Borough of Havering. The Transition Support will be accessible to educational settings from Birth to post 16 education and will be categorised by the level of support as outlined below:

Targeted Support

For all vulnerable students that are currently known to the Early Help Service or who may be facing permanent exclusion.

Light Touch Support

Students who do not meet the above criteria, who may need some extra transition support than Universal .i.e. students who have anxiety.

Universal Support

This is a support that we all collaboratively provide, including the transition work that Primary and Secondary schools have in place.

All Three Above

This is support for families that come under Targeted, Light Touch, and universal.

An Early Help Transition Support Spreadsheet has been developed to outline the support offered by each service within Havering that relates to educational transitions and to outline the support offered by services throughout the Covid-19 Coronavirus Social Distancing period.
